Procedures

Office Based

  • Cystoscopy – using a small camera to look inside the bladder
  • Enhanced Cystoscopy – special imaging that improves bladder cancer detection
  • Bladder Botox Injections – relaxes the bladder to help with overactive bladder symptoms
  • Urodynamic Testing – measures how well the bladder and urinary system work
  • Ultrasound – imaging of the kidneys, prostate, and testicles
  • Prostate Biopsy – taking small tissue samples from the prostate to check for cancer
  • No-Scalpel Vasectomy – quick, minimally invasive permanent birth control for men
  • PTNS (Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation) – gentle nerve stimulation to improve bladder control

Surgical

I provide a full range of urologic care, from complex cancer surgeries like da Vinci robotic prostatectomy to outpatient treatments such as GreenLight laser therapy for BPH and sling procedures for incontinence. I treat adults of all ages.

My office is uniquely located just steps from the operating and procedure rooms, which means that any office-based procedure can be performed in the operating room when needed for added safety or comfort.

Cancer

  • Robotic Prostatectomy – minimally invasive robotic surgery to remove the prostate
  • Open Prostatectomy – traditional surgery to remove the prostate through an incision
  • Laparoscopic Nephrectomy – keyhole surgery to remove a kidney
  • Robotic Partial Nephrectomy – robotic surgery to remove part of a kidney, preserving healthy tissue
  • Orchiectomy – removal of one or both testicles, often for cancer treatment
  • Adrenalectomy – laparoscopic or robotic removal of an adrenal gland
  • TURBT (Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor) – removing bladder tumors with a scope through the urethra
  • Perineal Prostate Biopsy  – precise prostate tissue sampling using advanced imaging
  • MRI/Ultrasound Fusion Prostate Biopsy – a more precise biopsy that combines MRI with ultrasound guidance

Enlarged Prostate

  • GreenLight Laser Prostate Vaporization (PVP) – a minimally invasive laser treatment to relieve urinary symptoms from an enlarged prostate
  • TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate) – removal of prostate tissue through a scope to improve urine flow
  • Urolift – open the urinary channel without cutting or removing tissue
  • Rezum Water Vapor Therapy – Uses gentle steam to shrink excess prostate tissue and relieve urinary symptoms
  • Robotic Simple Prostatectomy – robotic surgery used for very large prostates that cause severe urinary problems

Stone

  • Shockwave Lithotripsy (ESWL) – non-invasive sound wave treatment to break kidney stones into small pieces
  • Ureteroscopy with Laser Lithotripsy – using a small scope and laser to find and break up stones in the ureter or kidney
  • Percutaneous Nephrolithotripsy (PCNL) – keyhole surgery through the back to remove large kidney stones
  • Bladder Stone Removal – breaking and removing bladder stones using advanced tools (ShockPulse, laser, or robotic techniques)

Incontinence and Overactive Bladder

  • Female Slings – surgery to support the urethra and treat leakage
  • Male Slings – procedure to improve urinary control in men
  • Urethral Bulking Agents – injections (e.g., Bulkamid, Coaptite) to reduce urine leakage
  • InterStim (Sacral Neuromodulation) – implantable device to improve bladder control
  • Bladder Botox Injections – relaxes the bladder to treat overactivity and urgency
  • Bladder Hydrodistension – stretching the bladder under anesthesia, often for interstitial cystitis

Men’s Health and Fertility

  • In-Office Vasectomy (No-Scalpel, Single Incision) – minimally invasive permanent birth control performed in the office
  • Adult Hydrocelectomy – surgery to remove fluid around the testicle
  • Adult Circumcision – surgical removal of the foreskin
  • Spermatocelectomy – surgery to remove a fluid-filled cyst from the epididymis
  • Testicular Prosthesis Placement – implant to restore a natural look after testicle removal
  • Urethroplasty (Surgical Stricture Repair) – open surgery to reconstruct and widen a narrowed urethra
  • Urethrotomy (Endoscopic Stricture Repair) – minimally invasive procedure to open a narrowed urethra
